China Telecom takes a full part in the GNTC

As one of the three major carriers in China, China Telecom will take a full part in the GNTC. Xie Chongfeng, IPv6 Key Lab of Beijing Director, China Telecom Beijing Research Institute
China Telecom always stays focused on the research and deployment of next-generation Internet IPv6 and the construction of CNGI experimental network. In 2012, the large-scale commercial demonstration project of next-generation Internet was initiated, entering the commercial pilot phase; in 2014, it entered the large-scale commercial stage, and IPv6 was included in the regular planning and engineering construction; in the third quarter of the same year, IPv6 was introduced into the LTE network. As of 2016, China Telecom’s IPv6 has made good progress and accumulated rich experience at multiple network levels such as backbone network, MAN, IDC and mobile network and on the service side and user side.
